Modification Login The most likely cause of the problem is that you are trying to use your CIRA user account information to log on to your Registrar's site (cadns.ca). If you get a "Domain Not Found" response, make sure you are not using www. in front of the .ca domain name, and that you have no trailing spaces at the end of your .ca domain name. CDNS Usernames vs CIRA Account Numbers All Canadian Domain Name Services (CDNS) .CA Domain Name Usernames begin with cdns. CIRA account numbers are just numbers. CDNS Passwords vs CIRA Passwords All CDNS .CA Domain Name Passwords have alternate characters in them, such as the asterisk, the percent sign, the right or left bracket, the hyphen, the number sign, or an exclamation point, etc. CIRA passwords do not. CIRA passwords all consist of a random selection of 4 lower case letters, followed by only numbers. No "cdns" in front of CDNS Domain number for Username The other likely cause of a login problem is that you might be looking at your Billing Receipt which lists your .ca domain name number only. You may be trying to use that .ca domain name number, without the cdns in front of it. All CDNS .ca Domain Name usernames consist of cdns + the .ca domain name number on our system. i.e., cdns100001351, or cdns2038.
