.ca Domain Name Renewal Forms ~ Help
These forms will allow multiple renewals, up to 20 at one time. Enter one .ca domain name per line, (no www. in front of the domain name -- must end with .ca)

Larger Lists
If you have a larger list of .ca domain names and would prefer to do them all at once, please contact us with the list, and we will process it for you.

Password Feature
Passwords are required because we do not want to take the chance of someone renewing a .ca domain name that doesn't belong to them. This insures that you only pull up .ca domain names from the database, that belong to you.

My Passwords Aren't The Same
Should you wish to group your .ca domain names together for renewal, but you have separate passwords, you should first modify your CDNS Login Password for each .ca domain name , to be the same. If you have a large number of .ca domain names, please contact us using this link,registrar@cadns.ca?Subject=Requesting Password Consolidation and putting the details of your request in the body of the message. As long as you are the admin contact (as per admin email address), listed on the .ca domain name registration record, we can consolidate passwords automatically, with this email request. The request details should include a statement such as "Change CDNS Login Password for the following .ca domain names to the same password as somedomain.ca ... " (where somedomain.ca is the .ca domain name that has the password you would like to use for all your .ca domain names.

Modifying Your CDNS Login Password
Each .ca domain name at Canadian Domain Name Services has a CDNS Login Username and a CDNS Login Password. The system was created this way, to allow for future development of a .ca domain name management system whereby you can put all your .ca domain names under one .ca domain name management profile and access them all from one login, but still have the ability to separate your .ca domain names into different .ca domain name management profiles, if desired.

To change a password for a .ca domain name, click on Modify on the top blue navigation bar, and scroll down to the bottom of the modifications page, to the Change Password section, and change your password to the one you desire. In order to log in to do this, you will need the CDNS Login Information for the .ca domain name you are wanting to change the password on. If you do not have that information, please read the section below.

Getting Your CDNS Login Info For A .CA Domain Name
Only the Administrative Contact email address will receive the automatic email when using the "Email CDNS Login Info" function. After clicking on Modify, you will see 3 boxes to log in to modify the .ca domain name information. To have the CDNS Login Info emailed to the Administrative Email Contact, enter your .ca domain name in the top box (NO www.) and press the Email CDNS Login Info button. The results will be shown in RED at the top of the Modify page. Look at the email address that the information was sent to. Alternatively, you may use this link right here Email CDNS Login Info
Note: If your admin contact email address is defunct (doesn't work) then you need to contact us regarding this situation.

Administrative Email Address Is Not Working Anymore
Use registrar@cadns.ca to contact us regarding this situtation. Include the .ca domain name, the current Administrative Contact Email address, and the desired NEW Administrative Contact Email address, your phone number, and your position with the company or organization if the .ca domain name Registrant is not an individual. In addition, you must click on Support on the top blue navigation bar, and download and print the Fax Authorization Form for Changing the Administrative Contact Email address, and fax it to us, before we can submit the request to change the email address, to CIRA. CIRA is the only authorized entity to perform this operation.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO FAX US AN AUTHORIZATION FORM, if you have your permanent CIRA password and CIRA account number for the .ca domain name Registrant for the domain in question, and you consent to providing us with that information to verify your identity. You do not have to consent to this. You may alternatively, send us the Authorization Fax, and include in that fax, a note that says that you only need your CDNS Login Info. If you get your CDNS Login Info, and you have your CIRA account information, you can log in, change the admin email address yourself, and then go and approve that change at CIRA's web site for approvals.
